SINGAPORE CHANGI AIRPORT

Mr Lee Seow Hiang, Chief Executive Officer of Changi Airport Group said, “Changi Airport is humbled to receive this affirmation from our travellers, made possible by the strong support from our airport partners. This has been a challenging year for all us. Like everyone else, here at Changi, we continue to do our best to safeguard and protect the health of our travellers, our visitors and our airport workers. We wish everyone in the international aviation community well. Let’s look forward to better times and soon.”

 

TOKYO HANEDA AIRPORT

Mr Isao Takashiro, Chairman and CEO of Japan Airport Terminal Co., Ltd said: “We are delighted to learn that we have won three major awards in the 2020 World Airport Awards. With cleanliness of facilities being such an important item for customers, to again be named as the World’s Cleanest Airport is a great honour, and reflects the very hard work from all of our staff here at Tokyo Haneda Airport. Passengers with Restricted Mobility are a fast growing demographic in air travel, and to receive the award for the World’s Best Airport PRM Facilities underlines our dedication to ensure every customer can fully enjoy our airport. We are again winner of the World’s Best Domestic Airport award, which is a title we have long held and cherished. These times of coronavirus are difficult around the world, and we hope for a quick improvement to this situation in all countries, and I hope we will be able to welcome many people all over the world.”

 

NARITA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TOKYO

Mr Akihiko Tamura, President and CEO at Narita International Airport Corporation said: “We are gratefully pleased and honoured to receive the World’s Best Airport Dining Experience award. I would like to express my deep appreciation for the efforts of our airport staff who contributed to us winning this award. We offer the best of Japanese cuisine and various choices for our international customer’s needs, and we will continue to build facilities that please our customers.”

 

HAMAD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT DOHA

Engr. Badr Mohammed Al Meer, Chief Operating Officer at Hamad International Airport said: “Every year that we move up the ranks is particularly rewarding as this honour comes directly from our passengers who have shared their experiences travelling through our airport through SKYTRAX surveys. Despite all the challenges that the aviation sector faces today, we are committed to our primary role of helping travellers reach their home countries safely. The world faces unprecedented challenges due to the spread of Corona virus, and we are sure that the crisis will be overcome only through comprehensive cooperation between all concerned parties and civil society in preserving the safety and security of all. CINCINNATI / NORTH KENTUCKY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Ms Candace McGraw, CEO of Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky International Airport said: “My team and I are very proud that our airport is the recipient of the 2020 World Airport Awards ‘Best Regional in North America Award’. We are very proud to have received this award for seven out of the last nine years. In this very uncertain time when we can’t be together as an industry, it’s very nice that we take a moment to celebrate all the successes. ”

 

CENTRAL JAPAN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Mr Riki Inuzuka, President and CEO of Central Japan International Airport Co., Ltd., said: “We are extremely honoured to hear that we have again been voted as the World’s Best Regional Airport in the 2020 World Airport Awards. CAPE TOWN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Mr Deon Cloete, General Manager of Cape Town International Airport said: “It is a pleasure for us to join this prestigious awards event. Winning the Best Airport in Africa award for five years in a row now, we are mighty proud and pleased with this award, which is dedicated to all the good folk that work every day at Cape Town International Airport to make sure that we deliver a value proposition for service excellence to our customers and to our clients.”

 

DELHI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Mr Videh Kumar Jaipuriar, CEO of Delhi International Airport said: “I am pleased to hear that we have been voted the Best Airport in India and Central Asia at the 2020 World Airport Awards. BANGALORE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

DURBAN KING SHAKA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Mr Terence Delomoney, General Manager of Durban King Shaka International Airport said: “We are delighted and proud to have been awarded with the Best Airport Staff in Africa and the Best Regional Airport in Africa. This year also marks the tenth anniversary of Durban King Shaka International Airport and all of these achievements are due to the magnificent staff and the people that we find at Durban King Shaka International Airport.”

 

GUANGZHOU BAIYUN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Mr Qiu Jiachen, Chairman of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport said: “I am delighted to learn that our Airport has been named winner of the 2020 Award for having the Best Airport Staff Service in China, and this is a great honour. We work very hard to ensure that all our airport staff provide the highest quality of service to our customers and to receive this award is both a great honour and a real reward for our staff.”

 

HAMBURG AIRPORT

Mr Michael Eggenschwiler, CEO of Hamburg Airport said: “Being honoured with the Skytrax World Airport Award as Best Regional Airport in Europe means a great deal to us. It is the compliment of our passengers for our day to day work, and it makes me and all our staff very proud to have been granted this award for the third time. HOUSTON AIRPORTS

Mr Mario Diaz, Aviation Director of Houston Airports said: “On behalf of the 1,100 Houston Airports team members I want to thank you for this distinguished honour for the World’s Best Airport Website and Digital Services. This is our second year in a row to be honoured in this category, and an important recognition because for many years we have made technology a priority on many levels in the passenger experience. We understand that technology is no longer just an option, it’s a must, and this honour tells us our efforts are exceeding expectations.”

 

HONG KONG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Mr Erick Kwok-wai Tsang, Hong Kong’s Director of Immigration said: “We’re so honoured to receive the Skytrax Award for the World’s Best Airport Immigration Service this year. This is the fourth time that the Hong Kong Immigration Department has achieved this prestigious award over the past six years. This is precious to us particularly when we’ve been through the hard times these few years. I would like to thank international travellers for this recognition and also like to thank for the professionalism and dedication of our front-line staff. We will keep striving for excellence and innovation with a view to providing the best immigration service to passengers.”

 

KANSAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORTS

Mr Yoshiyuki Yamaya (CEO) and Mr Benoît Rulleau (Co-CEO) of Kansai Airports said: “I am delighted to learn that our airport is winner of three awards, including the major title of the World’s Best Airport Staff Service. This is a fabulous recognition for all our employees working here, who try their very best to provide the highest quality of service to our customers. We will continue to focus on delivering the most comfortable travel experience and enjoyment to all our passengers.”

LIMA AIRPORT

Mr Juan José Salmón , CEO of Lima Airport Partners said: “Many thanks for this great award which is an excellent incentive to us through these difficult times.”

 

MELBOURNE AIRPORT

PARIS AIRPORTS

QUITO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

SHANGHAI HONGQIAO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
