2020 World Airport Awards event cancelled
Due to the coronavirus situation, Skytrax cancelled the 2020 World Airport Awards event in Paris planned for 1st April 2020.

Skytrax confirmed that the 2020 World Airport Awards event due to take place on 1st April 2020 at Passenger Terminal Expo in Paris has been cancelled.
Edward Plaisted said: “Due to the coronavirus situation this was not an event that could proceed. For this year’s 2020 World Airport Awards, we are now in the process of organising for the award announcements and results to be streamed online through an awards video. Together with the full result presentation, we will have a lot of airports across the world participating in the online event. Whilst this pandemic has impacted the way of life for most global regions, we hope that this online awards event will offer a chance for some element of recognising the success for many airports.”
The 2020 Awards Results will be announced online through the Awards Video in early April 2020, and the detailed Results will also be published at the World Airport Awards website.
