Regal Airport Hotel Hong Kong has for the third consecutive year been named as the World's Best Airport Hotel at the 2013 Skytrax World
Airport Awards held at Passenger Terminal Expo in Geneva. The Regal also took the award for Best
Airport in Asia. "The Regal Airport Hotel Hong Kong continues to be a passenger favourite and this is true testament to the location and
quality of the hotel product and service," said Skytrax.
Langham Place Beijing Airport achieved a considerable jump up to 2nd Place of the World's Best Airport Hotel and also won the Award as the Best Airport Hotel in China - the
3rd consecutive year of success in this category.
The Oryx Rotana Doha also showed a rapid rise in the global Airport Hotel ranking this year, moving into 3rd position for World's Best Airport Hotel global category,
and also taking the award for Best Airport Hotel Middle East.
There was further success for Munich Airport with the Kempinski Hotel Airport Munich achieving a worldwide 4th place finish and also being named Best
Airport Hotel in Europe for the first time since this award was introduced 3 years ago.
The top-5 was completed by the Crowne Plaza Changi Airport who maintained a strong finish despite fierce competition from several local rivals.
Previous Best Airport Hotel in Europe winner the Sofitel London Heathrow was in 6th, with the Hilton Beijing Capital Airport in 7th. The top-10
was completed by Hyatt Regency Incheon (8th), Grand Hyatt DFW (9th) and Novotel Suvarnabhumi Bangkok (10th).
